Annual Great Yard and Collectible Sales
Twice a year – the 1
st weekend of April and the 1
st weekend of October – our Parish Thrift Store holds a community-wide Great Sale. Members of the parish and community bring their donations of good, clean used items to the parish hall beginning the Monday before the event. Volunteers, sort and price the items. Then on Friday morning at 8am the doors are opened and the shopping begins!!! Each event raises between $8,000 - $12,000. The profits are set aside in an account to be used for special projects around the parish – such as a new roof on the parish hall and new carpeting in the church.
Volunteers are always needed. If you would like to be a part of this fun and fast paced project, please call Maria Gonzales at the Thrift Store: 365-5853. Men are especially needed for lifting and moving larger items.
