The parish is, first, a people. Simply stated, it is a people called together by God. It is a people empowered by the Spirit to make increasingly true and obvious their response to God through Christ.
Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
The Funeral Liturgy for a loved one (within the context of the Mass or apart from it) celebrates the mystery of the life, death and resurrection in Christ, as we remember the life of our loved one who has passed away and entrust them to the goodness of God.
If a loved one has died and you would like to arrange for a Funeral Liturgy please Contact Us and a priest or deacon will assist you in planning the funeral liturgy or memorial service, as well as pray with you in this time of grief.
We have included some links on the left side of this page for your information regarding funeral preparation and what the Catholic Church teaches about cremation.
